Refund and Cancellation Policy

This policy explains how cancellations, refunds and credits work for Digital SproutX monthly plans, one-off projects and related costs.

1. Overview

We want every client to feel the pricing and process are fair. Because most of our work is custom and time-based, refunds depend on how much work has been completed. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for each type of service.

2. Monthly plans

Monthly plans have a minimum term of three months. After that, you may cancel with 30 days’ written notice by email.
Fees for the current month are non-refundable once the month has started, because time is reserved and work begins immediately.
If you cancel during the minimum term, the remaining months up to the end of the minimum term are payable unless we agree otherwise in writing.
If we fail to deliver the agreed monthly deliverables for reasons within our control, we will either complete them in the following month at no cost or credit the value of the missed work.

3. One-off projects

Before work starts: if you cancel within 3 working days of paying the advance and before the discovery workshop, we refund the advance minus any third-party costs already incurred.
After work starts: the 50% advance is non-refundable, as it covers discovery, research and initial design or writing.
After first concepts or drafts are delivered: you pay for the stage reached as set out in your proposal; no refund applies to completed stages.
After final delivery: projects are not refundable, but revisions included in your proposal remain available for 30 days.

4. Advertising spend

Ad spend is paid directly by you to Meta, Google or other platforms and is governed by their refund policies. We cannot refund ad spend. Management fees follow the monthly plan rules above.

5. Third-party costs

Costs we pay on your behalf with your approval — such as stock images, premium plugins, fonts, domains, hosting or printing — are non-refundable once purchased, as these are subject to the supplier’s own terms.

6. Cancellation by Digital SproutX

We may cancel an engagement if payment is overdue by more than 30 days, if we are asked to do work that breaks the law or platform policies, or in cases of abusive behaviour toward our team. If we cancel for reasons other than your breach, we refund any prepaid fees for work not yet performed.

7. How to request a cancellation or refund

Email info@digitalsproutx.com with your business name, invoice number and the reason for your request. We acknowledge requests within 2 working days and resolve them within 10 working days.

8. Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are paid by the same method you used to pay — bank transfer, bKash or Nagad — within 10 working days of approval. Bank or mobile financial service charges, if any, may be deducted.

9. Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any rights you may have under the Consumer Rights Protection Act, 2009 or other applicable laws of Bangladesh.
