Your privacy matters to us. This policy describes, in plain language, how Digital SproutX collects, uses, stores and protects personal information when you visit our website, contact us or work with us.

1. Who we are

Digital SproutX (“we”, “us”, “our”) is a digital marketing studio based in Uttara, Dhaka, Bangladesh, providing search engine optimisation, design, content writing and social media services. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect through digitalsproutx.com and in the course of providing our services, why we collect it, and the choices you have.

This policy is effective from 12 August 2026.

2. Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and deliver our services:

Information you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, website address and the details you write in our contact form, emails or messages.
Client account information: when you become a client, billing details, VAT/BIN information where applicable, and access credentials or user invitations you provide for your website, analytics and advertising accounts.
Usage information: pages visited, approximate location (city level), device and browser type, referring website and time spent on pages, collected through cookies and analytics tools.
Communications: records of emails, calls and messages with our team, kept so we can provide consistent service.

3. How we use your information

To reply to enquiries and prepare audits, proposals and quotations you request.
To deliver, manage and report on the services in your agreement with us.
To send invoices, collect payments and keep accounting records required by Bangladeshi law.
To improve our website, content and services using aggregated analytics.
To send occasional updates or newsletters — only if you opted in, and you can unsubscribe at any time.
To protect our website and clients against spam, fraud and misuse.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use client data for any purpose other than delivering the agreed services.

4. Legal basis and consent

We process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example, when you submit our contact form), to perform a contract with you, to meet our legal and tax obligations, and for our legitimate interest in running and improving our business. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.

5. Client data we handle on your behalf

When we manage your website, analytics, social media or advertising accounts, we may access personal data about your own customers (for example, enquiry form submissions or ad audience lists). In these cases we act on your instructions, access only what is necessary for the work, never copy such data to personal devices, and remove our access when the engagement ends. You remain responsible for having a lawful basis to collect that data.

6. Sharing with third parties

We share information only with trusted providers who help us operate, and only as much as they need:

Website hosting, email and cloud storage providers.
Analytics and advertising platforms such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Meta Business Suite.
Payment channels including Bangladeshi banks, bKash and Nagad, for processing your payments.
Professional advisers such as accountants and lawyers, under confidentiality.
Government or regulatory authorities where we are legally required to disclose information.

Some providers store data on servers outside Bangladesh. Where this happens, we choose reputable providers with appropriate security safeguards.

7. Data retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted within 12 months. Client records, contracts and invoices are kept for at least six years to meet tax and accounting requirements in Bangladesh. Access credentials are removed from our systems within 30 days after an engagement ends.

8. Security

We use HTTPS across our website, two-factor authentication on our business accounts, a password manager for client credentials, role-based access for team members and regular backups. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work hard to protect your information and will notify affected clients promptly if we become aware of a breach.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

Confirm what personal information we hold about you and provide a copy.
Correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
Delete your information where we no longer need it for legal or contractual reasons.
Stop sending you marketing messages.
Restrict or object to certain processing.

10. Children's privacy

Our website and services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes to this policy
